Northants Recreational Cricket is pleased to announce the return of its “Steeler Summer Camps” for boys and girls aged 8-14. Each three day course will be planned and delivered by Northants Cricket’s fully qualified professional coaches, and will be taking place throughout the county through the summer holidays, catering for Children between the ages of 8 and 14 each player booked onto a camp will receive:


• A goody bag containing exciting summer camp & Northants themed goodies

• A Steeler Summer Camp T-Shirt

• A free family ticket to the Vitality t20Blast game between the Northamptonshire Steelbacks and Worcestershire Rapids on the 30th of August.  All participants will be asked to select Hard or Soft ball specialisation.

Both options will include skills development, competition and fun activities, with contingency for wet weather, and will include a visit from Steeler himself. Each camp  is strictly limited to 40 participants and will be £65  for the three days, so book now to avoid disappointment. Players wanting to specialise in Hard Ball activity are asked to bring their own Bat, pads & gloves (plus abdominal protector for boys). Softball participants will not require kit, although those that have their own are encouraged to bring it along. All players will need to bring their own lunch and water bottle.

Memories of Steeler’s Summer Camps
